Laser Engraving - TOG Knives
At Brunel Engraving we are proud to work with Tog Knives, a brand synonymous with longevity, persistence, and the artistry of crafting exceptional blades. Our shared commitment to precision and quality craftsmanship has fostered a unique partnership that goes beyond mere engraving—it reflects a dedication to delivering products that stand the test of time.
Through the lens of Brunel Engraving, we explore the intricate details of Tog Knives' Higonokami Japanese pocket knives and the specialized engraving services that elevate these blades to a level of unparalleled distinction.
The Higonokami, a Japanese non-locking pocket knife designed in 1896, is characterized by its distinctive 'chikiri' – a forged lever used to open the knife. Renowned for their versatility, these knives are ideal for various everyday tasks, including opening packaging, sharpening pencils, and cutting fruit. The only maker allowed to call his knives ‘Higonokami’ now is a 5th generation blacksmith Mr Nagao, based in Miki, Japan, who has produced these knives for TOG.
At Brunel Engraving we provide our laser engraving services for their Higonokami knives, proudly showcasing the TOG logo. Using two different settings, we achieve two colour finishes for the two sections of the logo, ensuring that the engraving reflects the brand's standards at the highest level.
We also intricately engrave personalised details onto TOG's meticulously crafted kitchen knives. By request, logos, personal messages, and even graphics have found their place as enduring embellishments on these exceptional culinary tools. They also give the brands end users, something uniquely different and personalised, adding to the connection between brand and product.
In nearly four years of working together, we've proudly engraved 10,000 knives, each one a testament to our shared dedication to excellence. Here's to many more years of collaboration, craftsmanship, and creating products that truly stand out.
